Just knowing the list of countries for the right export market will not suffice. It is better to measure the relations between the two countries in terms of trade relations, share and import duty. This relation is an area of immense importance to be analyzed in the export plan.


This part will be provided the trade data on percentage of market sharing and import duty of two countries trading among each other on specific product. For example, the product "Pepper, HS Code 090411" is major exported by Vietnam, Singapore, France, Germany and Austria respectively. However, among these countries, market sharing on this product is spanned to competing countries like Indonesia, Malaysia, India, Brazil and Mexico with proportion of 89.6, 3.3, 3.2, 1.2 and 0.5 respectively. At the same time it is good to know the major importers in the world which it has competing countries in market sharing on the same product. Import duty is an element to identify and trade with the country partner for export.


The dominance of one country's export in another importing country and on sustaining manner indicated strong competition. On the other hand, changing of the position in terms of export market share in a target country indicates country's openness and leads to its selection as good country.
